But it’s true!

BUT
I’ve always smiled when I’ve heard that phrase, especially from Esther Hicks, when she’s protesting about something that is going on in her life that’s TRUE, even when she knows that focusing on it isn’t helpful.

Well, I had my chance to really feel the sting of that phrase the other week, when I caught myself beating the drum of something that I didn’t like in my life.

Help, where’s my money?

Recently I had some unexpected expenses and so my bank balance wasn’t as bouyant as it normally was. Usually, there is balance and if more goes out, then more comes in to replace it – but not this time. So, I decided to walk my talk and have a look at my money issues.

As synchronities go, I noticed an online ‘money block challenge’, run by the lovely Clarissa Wilson, and dived right in.

Yay.

But in the middle of the challenge I found myself wanting to change my feelings about some money issues but finding it hard, as I was still staring at the low bank balance.

Boy can it be hard to let something go, especially when …. it’s true!

Yet, I knew it was necessary to ‘let it go’ if I wanted things to change.

So, the question was …

How do you change a belief, while you’re still staring at the ‘opposite’ of it?

Saying a positive affirmation just wasn’t ‘doing it’ for me, it was just making me mad and I was digging my heels in and defending the ‘truth’ of my position!

Find out what I did to change my thoughts in this week’s video.

Over to you.

Have you ever found yourself staying stuck in a situation becuase it was ‘true’ and you couldn’t let that truth go?
Or, do you find ways to change your perspective and see things differently so you can create a better future experience for yourself?

Let me know in the comments section below.

As ever, feel free to share this post with someone who needs it.

Thank you,

Ferris.

  1. EFT is the only technique I know that allows you no positively encourages you to focus on the negative or addictive thinking until you exhaust it.
Again Ferris the difficulty is working on yourself isn’t it. Hard to take your own medicine … but perseverance pays of in the end I think.
I hope it’s working for you … if not ask your money angel
    xx Good luck xx

    • Hi Marion, I find that the tapping does bring quick relief to the emotions that come up from the negative thought patterns, and of course it does then help us shift out of those patterns, thank goodness.

I always appreciate the witness within me that is ever curious about how best to shift my blocks, that curiosity always makes it an easier process. This time it inspired me to look at new ways to ‘believe it before you see it’, which I’ll be sharing about shortly.

Things are shifting now, with more money starting to flow in already, so, yes, it is working 🙂
