Have you ever found yourself desperate for something to have happen faster or to manifest instantly? Whether it’s a small thing, like being impatient waiting in a queue, or it’s more of a feeling of wanting a new idea to instantly manifest in front of your eyes (I have to put my hand up to that one), then you’re letting impatience get the better of you.
What’s the problem with being impatient?
Here’s the deal. When you’re impatient, you’re not trusting that things are working out for you because they aren’t happening exactly how you desire them to. There’s a feeling of need, almost of desparation that can accompany impatience. You want to control the outcome and have things go to plan (but things are feeling a bit out of control and maybe aren’t going to plan).
That’s just not a fun space to be in.
Well, has being impatient ever felt good? Not to me.
Wise words from Abaraham-Hicks
It’s all about timing, whether it’s that wait in line that takes longer than you planned or whether it’s an idea you’d like to manifest. When you set your own rigid timing agenda, you could miss out on greater possibilities, like unexpectedly bumping into someone important while you’re waiting in that queue.
Also, according to my favourite Law of Attraction teachers, Abraham-Hicks, every manifestation has a gestation period. Our ideas and projects need that time before they are ready to be born (to manifest physically). I love that analogy and it fits in well with my ‘gardening’ analogy of not plating a seed and demanding it bear fruit the next day. Being impatient won’t help a seed sprout quicker and it won’t help your desires to manifest more quickly.
EFT tapping for impatience.
For me, the quickest way of dealing with impatience is to tap it out, using EFT tapping. Within a few minutes I can get it out of my system and feel way better. Here’s a demonstration of how to do it.
Will you come along and tap out your impatience with me?
Over to you
If you did the tapping, let me know how did you find it?
Did it help you feel less impatient?
