Tapping into the Power of Questions

questions

I’ve been experimenting lately with combining questions with tapping. In the past I did this to a degree, for example in this video where I use positive ‘what if’ tapping, but right now I am having a brand new love affair with questions, sparked by all the the Access Consciousness questions I’ve been using lately and the deep level of change that using them brings me.
I’m really excited to encourage you to try this too and to use the tips in this week’s post and video to help you start using the power of questions when you’re doing any EFT tapping.

My top tips on using questions with tapping.

1. Be in a space of possibility

As I explain in the video, the power of using questions is to be in a state of allowance, of curiosity. If you are desperate for an answer or frantically trying to solve a problem, then you’re usually not in a space to allow new possibilities any headspace.

2. Lower your intensity around the issue first

If you are feeling anxious or stressed out then you’re also not in a space for opening to new possibilities, so it’s better to use traditional tapping to reduce your intensity to a low level (below 5 on the SUDS scale) before bringing in the questions.

3. Ask the right questions.

I’ve talked before about the difference between being in the energy of a problem v the energy of a solution (see the post here). I used to also slightly think it was the same for questions and answers. However, if you ask the ‘right’ questions it’s an expansive experience and you can really FEEL how it’s opening up new possibilities and allows answers to percolate through to us in ways so much better than our linear minds could imagine.

Some expansive questions could be …

… What else is possible here?
… What would it take for this to change with ease?
… How does it get any better than this?

Some non expansive questions might be

… why did this happen?

… what did I do wrong?

Can you feel how constrictive and stress inducing those questions are?

In this week’s video I share some examples of how to use expansive questions in a round of EFT tapping.

Over to you.

If you try using questions when you tap, and I hope you do, let me know how that worked for you in the comments below.

As ever, please share this post with those who could benefit from it.

Thank you.
